Eliya Zulu is the Executive Director and founder of the African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP). AFIDEP’s mission is to institutionalise a culture of evidence-informed public policy formulation and implementation in Africa.
Eliya has over 20 years’ experience in developing and managing research, capacity building, and policy engagement programmes on a wide range of health issues facing Africa. Eliya uses his diverse experience to lead the knowledge translation and research uptake pillars within the LIGHT programme.
