Mr Gracious Ali

Gracious Ali is a public health specialist with over ten years’ experience in health systems strengthening across sub-Saharan Africa. His expertise spans design and delivery of research studies, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), research uptake, and project management across a range of health programmes, including tuberculosis (TB). He is particularly passionate about ensuring that research evidence informs policy and contributes to strengthened and resilient health systems.

He recently completed a TDR Implementation Science Fellowship, funded by the World Health Organization and hosted by the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. During the fellowship, he conducted research on TB while also pursuing a second Master of Science degree in Epidemiology. Prior to this, he worked with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in Malawi, holding a variety of roles.

Gracious holds a Master of Science in Public Health and Health Promotion from Bangor University in the United Kingdom.
