Ms. Milly Nattimba is the Research Uptake Lead for the LIGHT TB Project in Uganda. Ms. Nattimba is a Communications and Research Uptake practitioner, with a strong bias toward health. She is currently the Head – Communications at Africa One Health University Network (AFROHUN), a network of universities in Africa engaged in building one health workforce, hosted by Makerere University. She is involved in coordinating the communications function of the network as well as providing support to research teams in the broad areas of stakeholder engagement, visibility and research uptake.
Ms. Nattimba has worked in media and communications production for over ten years and has mentored young professionals in journalism and communications. She has built skills in designing training materials for journalists, health communicators and health workers. She is a trainer in communications, policy influencing and reputation management.
