Dr. Toyosi Adekeye is a senior lecturer in the Department of Community Medicine and Primary Healthcare and the LIGHT consortium Research Uptake Manager, at the Zankli Research Centre (ZRC), Bingham University. He is an adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health and Preventive Medicine, at Morehouse School of Medicine Atlanta, Georgia where he formerly served as the Director of the Satcher Health Leadership Institute’s Community Health Leadership Program.
His research is focused on chronic disease prevention through the utilization of culturally effective and appropriate strategies to address health disparities, especially disparities disproportionately affecting minority, and other vulnerable populations. Dr. Adekeye serves on committees, task forces and boards of several local, state, national and international organizations.
