Dr Marc Henrion is a senior biostatistician with LSTM, based at MLW in Malawi where he leads the Statistical Support Unit and the Biostatistics Associate Research Group.
Originally from Luxembourg, Marc studied at Imperial College London, UK for an MSc in Mathematics and then a PhD in Statistics, before moving on to do postdoctoral work in statistical genetics at The Institute of Cancer Research, London, UK and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, USA. Marc has been in Malawi since 2017 and is currently leading a young team of biostatisticians.
On LIGHT, Marc provides statistical support, primarily to the Malawi team, but also more widely across the consortium, and is a co-supervisor of LIGHT PhD student Mphatso Phiri.
