Moses Kumwenda is a Social Science PhD fellow at the College of Medicine of the University of Malawi and supported by Helse Nord TB Initiative and Health Research Capacity Strengthening Initiative. His thesis examines the longer-term dynamics within established heterosexual couples after undergoing HIV self-testing and care-seeking pathways following a positive self-test result. Moses main areas of research interest are 1) investigating social impacts of new biomedical interventions/technologies and 2) re-examining health interventions to address access barriers linked to masculinity.
