Meet LIGHT Team Members
The LIGHT Consortium brings together a diverse team of experts from partner institutions across four African countries—Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, and Uganda—as well as the UK. The consortium's structure comprises a dedicated Management Team, an innovative Research Team, an insightful Research Uptake Team, and a supportive Research Support Team.
These teams work collaboratively across all LIGHT partner institutions and are committed to positively influence global and public health policies, programmes, organisations and initiatives in our target countries. We will achieve this by ensuring that TB prevention and care policies and strategies, are informed by LIGHT evidence, such that they are gender-responsive, equity-focused, and able to support introduction and scale-up of new TB-related products by 2026 to meet global TB targets.
