Katherine Horton is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has 15 years of experience in infectious disease research, surveillance, capacity building and outbreak response working in low- and middle-income settings in Africa, the Eastern Mediterranean and Southeast Asia. Since joining LSHTM in 2013, her research has focused on using quantitative methods and mathematical modelling to better understand gender disparities in TB burden and care.
